Lyall's Bookshop has been a staple of Todmorden Town Centre for twenty years. It was opened by Colin And Kate Lyall with the aim of providing a well-stocked and eclectic character bookshop.

Lyall's offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which to browse their extensive stock. It boasts two floors teaming with books covering a wide range of categories and interests. Whatever your interest Lyall's are happy to help you seek out an author or advise you on a subject or category, or you may simply wish to explore unaided and make serendipity your book search companion.

We provide a comfortable armchair for those wishing to give a book a more relaxed consideration; an additional chair is also provided, this is suspended from the ceiling to accommodate the more agile and adventurous reader!
